As a huge fan of Japanese culture, Thai superstar STAMP has released a new single in collaboration with Japanese male/female twin-vocal band Awesome City Club. ‘move on feat. Awesome City Club’ is out today, along with a music video.

The song carries the message that while life brings good times and bad times, we should face the future and walk forward together. In these dark days when the news can feel overwhelming, it’s a comforting song to warm your spirit.
This is Awesome City Club’s first collaboration with an artist from outside Japan. On the second chorus, you can even hear band members atagi and PORIN singing in Thai for the first time, a rare treat that’s worth listening out for.

The video combines footage of STAMP that was shot in Thailand and footage of Awesome City Club filmed in Japan. It shows various scenes of a woman’s “stay home” lifestyle in a one-room apartment, with appearances here and there from STAMP and Awesome City Club. The video carries the message that music is always with us, through good times and bad.

STAMP profile STAMP is a singer-songwriter from Bangkok, Thailand, where he is a top-selling artist and music producer. His heartwarming city pop sound and gentle singing voice convey the cheerful spirit of Thailand. He regularly takes the No.1 spot on the Spotify Thailand and Apple Music charts, and his YouTube channel has exceeded 150 million views.
STAMP is a household name in Thailand. He has headlined the 30,000-capacity Cat Expo music festival and appeared in commercials for multiple global brands. In addition to his activities as an artist, he is also a producer, and he even has his own label, 123records.
He is a self-professed Japanophile who is teaching himself the language. During an appearance on Japanese TV show ‘Sukkiri’, he endeared himself to viewers by speaking fluently in Japanese. He performed at Japan’s major music festival SUMMER SONIC 2019, followed by the release of a collaboration single with Japanese artist SKY-HI in January 2020 (‘Don’t Worry Baby Be Happy feat. STAMP’). He began full-scale activity in Japan in summer 2020.

Awesome City Club profile
“Welcome to Awesome City, a city that never sleeps. In this metropolis where dreams collide, awesome music overflows every day. Awesome City Club: The people we want to hear us are in this town.”
Awesome City Club formed in 2013 in Tokyo. The three members of this male/female twin-vocal band each bring an eclectic variety of influences, which they combine to create a unique mix of pop, rock, soul, R&B, dance music and more.
Their first mini-album ‘Awesome City Tracks’ was released in April 2015, placing at No.1 on the iTunes Rock chart and creating a buzz among music fans. After releasing four mini-albums in the two years from their debut, they followed up with a best-of album, an EP and then a full-length album. In addition to touring within Japan on a constant basis, they have performed at many large-scale festivals in Japan and overseas.
The individual members also have various side projects outside of Awesome City Club, writing music for numerous artists and participating in tours, while PORIN has even launched her own apparel brand, making them a key part of the music scene as well as Japan’s wider culture.
In early 2020, they released three singles in succession, followed by an album in the spring.
In 2021, PORIN and the other members appeared in the movie ‘I Fell in Love Like A Flower Bouquet’ as themselves, and released the movie’s theme song ‘Wasurena’, which ranked highly on multiple streaming and download platforms and exceeded 100 million plays within three months. In February, their new full-length album ‘Grower’ included ‘Wasurena’ among its 10 tracks; it was followed in April by the single ‘Matataki’.
Awesome City Club continue to evolve with the times, taking on a wide range of new challenges both as a band and as individuals.
